How do I change my subscription (upgrade or downgrade)?
How to move to a higher or lower plan on your SMASH subscription, and how prorated billing works.
You can increase or reduce your subscription plan at any time from your customer area. Handling differs depending on the direction of the change: an upgrade applies immediately on a prorated basis, while a downgrade takes effect at the next billing date.
Upgrading your subscription
To increase your capacity, simply subscribe to the corresponding plan and complete payment. The new capacity is added immediately, and the amount charged corresponds to the prorated remaining time until your next billing date.
Example: your subscription starts on September 1st. On September 15th, you upgrade to a higher plan: you only pay the difference for the period from September 15th to 30th. Starting October 1st, billing switches to the full rate of the new plan.
Downgrading your subscription
To reduce your plan, the change takes effect at the next billing date. Until then, you continue to enjoy your current capacity.
Example: your subscription starts on September 1st with three users. On September 15th, you request a downgrade to two users: your capacity remains unchanged until September 30th. Starting October 1st, the new plan and its billing take effect.
