What is the DNS Manager and how do I use it?

The DNS Manager lets you configure your domain's technical settings: website, email, redirections, with SMASH support included.

The DNS Manager is the interface that lets you manage the technical settings of your domain name: it tells your domain where your services are located (website, email, redirections). In practice, it's the tool that links your domain name to the services you use.

Who is it for?

The DNS Manager is aimed at users comfortable with technical settings, IT teams, or external providers - but also anyone who wants to take the reins occasionally while still benefiting from SMASH's support. The interface is designed to stay clear, with simple labels and guided actions - you're never required to use it, as the SMASH team can manage the settings for you.

What you can configure

  • Connect a website to your domain name.
  • Set up an email service.
  • Add or edit redirections.
  • Update the main DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT...) as needed.

Support included

SMASH support is included in the offer at no extra cost: our team can handle up to 5 modifications or DNS entries per year for you. If a configuration error temporarily affects your website or email, our team checks your settings, fixes the configuration, and helps get the service running again.
