What management modes does SMASH DNS offer?

SMASH DNS offers three management modes, designed to fit your technical comfort level and your needs. The mode chosen at registration is not final: you can change it at any time, with our team helping you through a smooth transition without service interruption.

The three modes

1. Full support (recommended) - SMASH handles everything: filing the official request, liaising with Monegasque authorities, technical configuration of your domain. You have nothing to set up.
2. Self-managed via DNS Manager - SMASH registers your domain as registrar, then gives you access to the DNS Manager interface to manage the settings yourself (DNS, redirections, connections to your services). Ideal if you're comfortable with technical management.
3. External management - SMASH handles only the administrative registration of the domain; technical management (DNS) remains with another provider of your choice.

With full support, you always keep the option to delegate certain actions or step in occasionally via the DNS Manager if needed.
