How to manage a user's roles and service access?

Understand how to activate, deactivate, and assign service access for your users.

Activating or deactivating a user controls their access to the login portal, while access to each service (marketplace, DNS, mail, drive...) is managed independently. A user can therefore have access to only certain services, based on your organization's needs.

Activating or deactivating a user

  • Active user - they can log in to the login portal and access the services assigned to them.
  • Deactivated user - they can no longer log in, even though their account still exists. This lets you temporarily block access without deleting the account.

Assigning access to a service

  1. Marketplace - access is managed directly from the Users panel, by enabling or disabling the corresponding right.
  2. Other services (DNS, mail, drive...) - first subscribe to the service for your organization, then grant or remove access for each user from the relevant service section.

Each service is managed independently, letting you adjust access based on each user's needs.
